The finalists have been announced. I see they include Julia Hwang, the violinist who performed The Lark Ascending in the BBC Four film.

Hope they make a good job of the presentation this year, with the emphasis on the performances. The last one was an improvement on the previous disaster, wasn't it?

I see that most of the brass finalistsare from the north!! I do hope that theBBC does a bettrer job to, FF!

Sadly no Viola or Bass players again and no Oboist either.
