A friend of mine agreed to page turn for a recital of piano music by Elliott Carter and Yannis Xenakis. The Xenakis appeared to have about two seconds' worth of music per page, which kept him busy, to say the least. I stopped him on his way back, "What was the score to the Xenakis like?" "Fly shit", he said.
