Emerson Quartet playing live from the Wigmore Hall

It is around 1:17pm and I'm listening to the eminent Emerson Quartet playing Mozart live from the Wigmore Hall. I can detect intonation problems which is most uncharacteristic for them. I hope they sort it out for the next work which is Beethoven.

I think that may have been the shortest encore I've ever heard

Absolutely agree about intonation probs. Huge surprise. Really made me sit up. Thought it was just my ears, and that was in the Beethoven. OK, I know that op 131 is the summit, but.............?

As Algy might have said, “They may not play accurately, but they play with great expression.”
