Heard most of this this on the car radio today and enjoyed it greatly. A gripping, dramatic performance I thought and well worth listening to again.

I caught just the coda of the fourth movement when I was in the car and on the basis of that thought similarly - wil check it out. -
Like buses here comes another close behind. The Halle Elder in Sunday Conert was another good'un. An Eroica well played makes me realise what a really great work it is and along with Schubert 9 and Berlioz Sym Fant way ahead of its time.Originally posted by gradus View PostComment
