With luck, there might be more Berlioz performances than usual next year to commemorate the 150th anniversary of his death.
Per Wickipedia "its travelogue form and cosmic perspective have made it an extreme challenge to stage as an opera. Berlioz himself was eager to see the work staged, but once he did, he conceded that the production techniques of his time were not up to the task of bringing the work to dramatic life."
The wonderful performance of Saul this year gives hope that Richard Jones/Glyndebourne will meet with success.....

Oh I hope so! A glut of Berlioz at the Proms next year?
I’m rather a fan of Gardner, so his Damnation, would worth looking out for.Don’t cry for me

For anyone who wants to relive this past season's Prom 71, with a New York City twist, the ORR & JEG just gave the same all-Berlioz concert at Carnegie Hall, with a different mezzo:
John Eliot Gardiner and his Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique perform an all-Berlioz program from Carnegie Hall.
Haven't heard this yet myself, but need to give it a go at some point.
PS: NYT review of the two ORR concerts @ Carnegie Hall this past weekend. The reviewer was pleased:
