    Catriona Morrison Lunchtime Recital

A beautifully sung and played recital of Brahms, Schumann and Elgar songs by Ms Morrison with Julius Drake, repeated today. This repertoire suits her mezzo voice so well that its a lovely experience to hear her perform.

Agreed and Sea Pictures especially memorable.
Julius Drake made one forget the orchestral version - what a player ..

I didn't hear this recital, but I have heard Julius Drake - playing with Emma Johnston. Excellent musicians, both of them. I might look for the recital on iPlayer.

"Morison", actually - to distinguish her from her compatriot the triathlete (a pedant writes)...
