    Norrington's Eroica - RSNO - very good

This freebie from the RSNO turned out very well - https://www.rsno.org.uk/friday/

I think it might be there for a little while.

Norrington touting his own superiority as usual.

A vituperative comment re RN from EA ad usual. The former clearly connected well with both orchestra and audience. Any superiority he touted was that of the composer but I guess there are those who consider the composer's intentions not worth bothering with. When it came to having the wind and brass players standing, RN was quick to advise it was his, rather than Beethoven's, idea, though one based on images of performances of Beethoven's time.

Thanks Dave, that made for a most enjoyable Friday night.

Didn’t realise this orchestra worker with Sir Roger.

They played very well for him - I really enjoyed it. Glad you did too.
