    Absolutely agree with you there,FF. Surely if ythey are true music lovers, (or appreciaters perhaps?), they would relsaise this and not gibve out this spontaneous habit. It's only at this festival,am I right that it happens?

              the composer was somewhat better than your average musical of today - however under recent management I'll admit the Proms have moved more towards the circus end of the 'big tent'.
