To be followed by the world's best ringtone tunes, with door bell chimes a week later.

With full orchestra and ukelele to boot.

"And at number 32 this week we have ... "

Very unfashionable, it seems - news has it that "millennarians" have a thing against ringing doorbells. I've no idea why, unless it has something to do with the upping of the anger quotient in these politically charged times: eg "You could have just knocked!" - but it explains the number of deliveries I've recently had consisting of a note telling me I wasn't in.

What EXACTLY is your problem with Game Music ?
Mozart was rather keen on game music as were many others (John Zorn et al)
Have you actually LISTENED to any of it ?
        or
Is it in the realms of "Prof Says" statements about Stockhasen ?

Yes. I have listened to it. About 10 bars. SCHMALTZY PAP. Bit like listening to film music without the visuals. Like a pencil without any lead. POINTLESS.

Yes - there's no reason why Game Music [like any genre] can't produce good Music ... but the stuff played this afternoon wasn't.

Perhaps they just don't understand the purpose of doorbells:

I guess an Atari game's music could now be considered HIP.
