Verdi Requiem - Baltic Sea Festival

Anyone else find this as delightful to listen to as I did ? I thought the four soloists in particular were absolutely superb...tingles down the spine in the Lacrymosa and Requiem Aeternam.

The Dies Irae could have had a little bit more punch to my liking but all in all one of the best I've heard.

Yesterday's Afternoon on 3, Bbm - and thanks to Anastasius for pointing out something I would otherwise have missed.

Verdi's Requiem and music by Raminta Serksnyte, Veljo Tormis and Esa-Pekka Salonen.

There’s a whole host of concerts last week that look very good.
