    Die Walkure Act 1 BBCPO

Kate Molleson was right, an incendiary performance under the new principal conductor, Omer Meir Wellber, can't wait to see if he programmes more Wagner. Don't miss it.

A concert performance of Act 1 of Wagner's Die Walkure, plus Mozart, Britten and Bartok.

    For anybody looking................!

Not as incendiary as Skelton and Magee recently at the ROH, and, though RDS makes sweet sounds, his German sounds more anglicised than Skelton's. Impressive playing from the BBC Phil.

Sounds as though the BBCPO is experiencing new grounds! Very exciting. Must hear this concert!

Sounds good - has anyone come close , however, in incendiary terms to Walter's 1930s recording with Melchior and Lehmann - so much so that there was surely a danger of immolation two operas early
