This is very sad news and I am very glad that he has left so many wonderful examples of his magnificent art for us and future generations to enjoy.
If I had to choose one concerto CD it would be his Proms performances on BBC Legends of the Beethoven & Dvorak concertos
He also recorded Brahms' Piano trios with Janos Starker and Julius Katchen in wonderful performances.

Suk's Brahms violin sonatas with Julius Katchen are worth the money too. R.I.P/
I often wondered whatever happened to his father, who could not (it seems) compete with his son, father and grandfather.

...Sad news indeed. I have long been a Suk fan-met him a few times & actually ment to Study with him in Prague, but this was
impractical in the end.I have just about every Recording he made & particularly value his Unaccompanied Bach,Beethoven & Berg Concertos...

The Mendelssohn and Bruch couplings are pretty special too.
