    Cecil Court and Newport Court. I've spend many happy lunch times in those shops too. Not far from most of my publishing jobs. Happy days, Ferret and Chris.

        I'v been watching some of my video of the Kirov Ballet dancing Petrushka. It is in colour, remembering Nijinsky but of course he is not in it, even in B/W.

        What a wonderful score it is. Did you get your telegram Petrushka ?

          Thanks for the reminder of the Petrouchka anniversary. I only noticed this thread this evening after arriving home from choir practice followed by two excellent pints of Ringwood Forty-niner



          I have just celebrated with the classic Monteux/Boston CD which was exhilarating.

            Thanks, a shame that my real birthday was 8 days ago - but that is the same day as Stravinsky himself according to the old style Russian calendar (Jun 17 new style).
