    Caught some of this on the car radio c2.30pm. It's a work I love. Well, bits of it anyway and I guess a moot point is whether it all adds up to "a work" in any meaningful sense. But all them bits is wonderful even if they don't stick together! I first got to know it via the Britten LP version which tried to stitch it into "a proper work" by great editing efforts from BB and PP, but with no great success IMHO.

    Thumbs up for the drunken poet and the "No kissing at all" duet today - just wish I could have caught it all

    Perhaps it's time to retire??
    I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

      I missed this. But at least the 30 day expiry has not come about yet but I am wondering whether time will permit?
