Worth pointing out that this is on R3, Draco (not entirely clear from your posting!).
They're performing tonight, according to the schedule.

Hence the Monday @ 7.30 on RADIO THREE is a recording of today's concert in Wells Cathedral.

Crikey, wish I'd never started this.

Those planning on tuning in might find the brief exchange here to be of some peripheral interest.

Tuned in! Enjoyed Trois PL enormously. A favourite of mine. Quite an achievement for a young choir...even if they are all 'specialist' musicians. Quite apart from the tricky pitching, it's all very exposed and sustained. Very well directed by Christopher Finch. Didn't hear the Quartet FTEOT...hadn't got time!

For anyone who wants un regard at the text:

Anniversaire de leur création le 21 avril 1945. Le texte est écrit par Messiaen. Il n'est pas facile à entendre (ni à trouver), le voila : I – Antienne de la conversation intérieure (Dieu présent en nous…) Mon Jésus, mon silence, Restez en moi. Mon Jésus,...

Just love the 'C'est pour nous' repetitions with the Ondes Martenot.

Agreed: thought it benefited greatly from having largely young voices giving buoyancy and agility to the Messiaen textures. some pretty mean percussion work in there too.

Will catch up with this today. Sounds rather a rather good concert from the cathedral in the countryside.

And the Quartet FTEOT was delicately played too, particularly good piano work. Skilful and thoughtful pedal work. Would have been great to hear it on site.
So pleased R3 had the guts to commit an evening's listening to this concert.
