I think the applause spoke for itself: yes.

But I can never get rid of the idea that, partially,live radio applause also seems to say (I did say partially): we're here and you aren't :-D

One of the best performances of the Nielsen 5th I've ever heard (even finer than Thomas Søndergård's BBC Welsh one at the Proms a couple of years ago). I listened to it once, then again with the volume turned way up - great orchestral playing with Christian Lindberg giving the music real impetus. And, while there might be objections to including the audience applause (although to excise it because listeners weren't there seems just a bit perverse), at least there was no-one who felt that they had to shout "bravo" the very nano-second the music finished. Well worth finding time for a listen.
