      Well, it turns out that I sort of guessed correctly about Giancarlo Guerrero and juggling two jobs, as you'll get to see more of GG in Chicago over the next few summers, at the least, as GG just got named principal conductor of the Grant Park Music Festival:

      The 6-time GRAMMY-winning conductor becomes the Festival's eighth artistic leader and is already at work planning Festival 2025.

        interesting. i'm recently returned from several weeks abroad so I missed this. We didn't make it to Grant Park at all this past summer, due i8n part to the time I spent on the East Coast with a relatikve passing away. Hopefully next summer
