My dad told me about Lew Stone's regular appearances at the Thé Dansant afternoon events (if that was the correct nomenclature) held at the Strand Palace hotel in the 1930s. interesting. i'm recently returned from several weeks abroad so I missed this. We didn't make it to Grant Park at all this past summer, due i8n part to the time I spent on the East Coast with a relatikve passing away. Hopefully next summer
