I thought this was an absolutely fantastic performance of the Rachmaninov! (Couldn't stick around for the Symphony)
I've had my eye on Sunwook Kim since his Leeds-winning Brahms PC 1 (my recorded copy of which on DVD is one of my references for that piece).
He's absolutely the real deal.
Two more chances to hear the programme (Bristol and Portsmouth I think) this week - anyone in range should jump at it..... teamsaint? french frank?

PS I loved Martin Handley's comment, after a decent period of just applause and ovation: "I'm speechless" ... and then more applause, to prove the point
