What are the musicians doing at the back? They are at the front when I go. i suppose you do like to do things differently.

I like the Anvil very much. I have been there a few times to hear the OAE, when their concert in the Festival Hall was sufficiently marvellous that I wanted to hear it a second time. (Notably Berlioz's Romeo et Juliette a few years ago.) The Anvil is undoubtedly far superior to the Festival Hall in terms of the acoustics. Unfortunately the OAE have arranged the Festival Hall and Anvil concerts with Rattle next April to coincide with the first and second evenings of Passover. For which reason, I shall not be able to go.
