There are very few in the cheapest price bracket. My guess is that the prices are set taking into account the price of travelling to London for an alternative concert.
however, 2015/16 does look a really good season, although very much standard repertoire. ( Wot, no Holmboe?!)
Was going to start a thread about this season a couple of weeks ago,but then decided not to.obviously.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I'd guess that the Anvil perceives there'd be strong price resistance at £40 and so the top Anvil prices are capped at £39 which means that the other prices have had to be squeezed upwards to achieve the required box office income.
One-price seating gives a much more democratic audience mix than the traditional hierarchical pricing. The large Crucible Theatre in Sheffield now charges a standard ticket price throughout the theatre, but it's lower at £21.

that applies to any concert ticket purchased, TBF.
could be a good sales pitch for promming tickets though....I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
