Whilst cleaning the kitchen, I had R3 on and was listening to a wonderful choral work written in the 1700s, clearly based entirely on Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Mopping the floor, I missed the details at the end of the work! About 10.55 am. Anyone know what the piece was, and who were the performers/recording?

Sounds like you were swept away by it.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Was it:
Michel Corrette
Laudate Dominum
Ensemble: Le Parlement de Musique.
Choir: Maîtrise de Bretagne.
Denoye - Corrette d'apres Vivaldi.
Ambronay. It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Anyway, looks as if DP and FF have supplied the answer and you might have inspired others to give it a listen.
Perhaps we should start a Sunday morning 'Ask Auntie and Uncle ...'?
