Indeed. Buckfast is a gem, but although there is no traditional case on show, the main departments are indeed in 'cabinets' (not a very adequate description) which modify and focus the sound. It's an organ with a French accent, and about as different from the RFH as one could imagine. It's in need of a bit of TLC and the original Walker console is a bit unwieldy to use. Pity they can't throw a million quid at that one.

There's a new DoM there now - I wonder what he'll manage to do.

I heard "Bucky" is a favorite plonk in Scotland amongst certain elements up there. I am sure it will get attention being such a notable organ but it is just a case of getting the money together. I know Father Sebastian Wolf would have been really behind this but I am not sure if he is still with us. He is/was a very fine player and improvisor but he must be pushing 90 now if he is still with us
