I attended this concert tonight. Wondering if any other boarders attended. I thought it was an interesting performance. If felt the 2nd half of the performance was better than the first. Did I miss something?

Dunno wasn't there, so can only comment on content and not performance.. The "Vespers" source does not include a prescriptive running order, and indeed constituent elements may be dropped or rescheduled according to what theory is prevalent at the time of rehearsal. Liturgically correct solutions are not always the same as aesthetically pleasing ones. I usually find that the "Magnificat" tagged on as an afterthought creates an anti-climax.Originally posted by Black Swan View Post
