CPE Bach after R3 Live in Concert

In his tercentenary year a chance to explore Emanuel Bach's revelatory keyboard music in performances on the clavichord, harpsichord, tangent and fortepianos as well as the modern concert grand piano.

Whatever the reasons and excuses behind the programming, this was/is more than worth hearing.

I hope R3 isn’t going think that they’ve ‘done’ CPE Bach as an anniversary composer with these fillers.

Sadly, the OAE concert does not appear to be in the schedules as listed in Radio times. Burying notice of this half-hour series of CPE Bach segements as an adjunct to "Live In Concert" is likely to irritate those who miss it. Luckily, little gets past DS.
