EMS on 12 Jan - Liz Kenny on Inspiring Lutenists

The excellent Liz Kenny talking to Lucie Skeaping on the lutenists who have most inspired her - Robert Spencer and Nigel North. Nice as it is to be able to hear this again, it is nevertheless a repeat from 2008

Incidentally I see she's teamed up again with Fretwork and Bostridge in another Dowland concert (after that lunchtime Prom ) in February.

This is an excellent program. But builds on my fears for EMS. First Catherine Bott leaves, then down to one show per week. And now we are getting repeats....

Yes, a Jan/Feb European tour which includes UK dates in Marlborough College (tonight), then Royal Welsh College, Leeds Assembly, Bridgewater, Kings Place, St George's, Turner Sims and Sheldonian.

don't fret there soon will be none tho R2 (or the new R2.5) may be stung into providing a pop version for the tone deaf
