    Striggio on 'Front Row'

The best of the BBC, with the latest news and sport headlines, weather, TV & radio highlights and much more from across the whole of BBC Online

A pleasant surprise to find it discussed here, in view of the almost complete absence of 'classical' music from radio & TV 'Arts' programmes (unless it's a controversial opera production, of course.)

Funny to hear Mark Lawson referring to Robert Hollingworth's group as I Fagioloni, though I suppose there's no obvious reaon why they should be called after small green beans rather than large tubes of pasta.

Interesting little feature (starts at 6'15'' in). I do think Robert Hollingworth is a natural in terms of presentation/communication - it would be good to hear more of him on 3.

My Italian deli has about 16+ kinds of pasta - I must look out for fagioloni.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
