And, apart from the above, no CE tomorrow. I hadn't realised the whole weekend was a BrittenFest. I'm sure these 48hr saturations lose R3 more listeners than they gain.

I agree with all the above suggestions that an Britten-themed EMS would have been brilliant...an opportunity lost. The BBC didn't dump Words and Music..which was Britten-themed. The snag is it was on Saturday and at a different time. I'm glad I happened on it by accident, as it was on Britten's poets.
