Fiona Talkington played this on Breakfast this morning. I have not been too impressed by Scholl’s recent performances but here, he is absolutely on top form. This seems to be from a 1999 recording. I suppose performers have to move on…

The other JC Bach is awesome. I recently heard "Meine Freundin, du bist schoen", and couldn't get enough of it.
