Didn't Tom Service say at the end of 'Music Matters' that we're in for a Verdi Week in a couple of weeks' time?

      a Verdi Week
Oh God. Why? Nothing wrong with Verdi in moderation, but what is this week, fortnight, month thing? Anyway, I hope they play his string quartet which is a bit surprising for Verdi.

Quite - just had the misfortune to catch about 3 seconds of 'beach photo opportunities' from EM and family, it was already too much

Blimey, is the LibDems over and done with. How quickly the political landscape moves on ...
Is there one email address to which we can address our distress about TEMS? And, have it heard? I mean really heard, not by some medjia student on an Intern. A proper BBC person!

No people are probably, like me, bored rigid by the posturing but note I said the media - its an easy topic with talking heads whose 'wisdom' will be forgotten within hours allowing them to regurgitate the current line, usually held at the seaside with good food and possibly entertainment on the side

Excuse me - no politics allowed here. I'm surprised at you, Cali.

Gawd, I've never seen the EMS Forum so animated. Sad that it takes RW's knife to get us all going.

Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got

Incidentally, those looking for excellent online classical music radio without mucking about and endless me me me presentation, try this: http://areena.yle.fi/radio/soitin/yle-klassinen

Links in Finnish merely announce works / artists and that's it! But music is from all over, and all genres.

Whilst a programme about Marin Marais is always to be welcomed - to tag it onto a Gerard Depardieu film in the interests of maintaining the R3 'film score' theme ..... rather defeats me. Surely one is more interested in the music than what film it was featured in?

(Have I missed something vital, is September 2013 the anniversary of something significant in cinema?)
