As it has been mentioned by vinteuil on the Stormy Weather and by aeolium on the F. Biondi thread, and as it happens, I was going to post about one myself, I thought it might be interesting to start a thread on Early Music Summer Festivals.. To add to all this, this Friday’s live broadcast is the opening concert of the Lufthansa Festival.
Here is vinteuil’s recommendation (not all in summer)
The Tudeley Festival
Saturday & Sunday 20th & 21st July ~ Schubertiade Weekend

Saturday 12th October, Saturday 16th November, Sunday 9th February
“John Dowland ~ His Festival”
Kai Wessel & Ulrich Wedemeier with Jack Edwards
The Rose Consort of Viols with Jacob Heringman
Iestyn Davies & Thomas Dunford
And this is mine:
Stour Early Music Festival:

Fretwork together with lutenist Elizabeth Kenny and tenor James Gilchrist, and more.
…and the Lufthansa Festival:
