.... well i am glad we have that sorted because i wanted to mention that i am enjoying the odd bits of baroque that keep popping up all over and that it does seem to be more than the usual suspects and as Jamiewhall suggests it is being enjoyed on that side of the microphone as well ... [and KD still reminds me of my erstwhile ma in law .... shudders]

*Not that I disagree with that... It's just that I wouldn't know, would I... Was she as youthful as KD?"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Fat & sickly (the almond croissant)?
Don't know what the sugar lumps in a glass of water could signify.

Listen Again: archive programmes
This looks rather good.
Listen to the latest Baroque Spring broadcasts, plus archive programmes about major baroque composers and their music.
Most of it isn’t anything to shout about but this must be good (note the duration. Those were the days…)
Discovering Music: The English Viol Consort
Duration: 1:24:26
Catherine Bott joins Laurence Dreyfus and his celebrated viol group, Phantasm at the 2009 Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music. Here they provide a guided tour of the Golden Age of English viol music, the culmination of which are the Fantasies and In Nomines of Henry Purcell.
Catherine and Laurence offer an illustrated insider's view to this music, explaining the ideas that inspired it and highlighting many of characteristics that define it. They draw on music by Robert Parsons, William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, John Jenkins and William Lawes - all of whom provided the catalyst for the Fourth Fantasia of Henry Purcell.
