    .

Richard - have you come across Matthew Wadsworth? I've heard him play Kapsberger, and been entranced.

The ensemble’s voice sounded a little too slick/modern for my idea of Strozzi.

Head-over-heels in love with this Bestion Vespro (and playing parts of it, especially the Magnificat, everyday) I wonder how it will be taken (depends on who does the taking of course...)

Got Savall playing now... the one throws light upon the other....

Samson sounded great with a generous choir (unlike their last new release on the programme) filling the narrative solidly. The Vivaldi sounded good too.

Having finally sated my Monteverdian desires I'll try this Vivaldi later.... cunning, attention-grabbing title..."Vivaldi Jupiter".... you don't know what it might be till you peruse the detail...

Loved the Josquin this morning. Is it my imagination, or are the Tallis Scholars being allowed a bit more 'individuality' to their vocal production?
