Rob has just mentioned the death on 8 June of Lina Lalandi, founder of the English Bach Festival. I remember sitting just a few feet away from her as she played the clavichord in a recital (shared with lutenist Eugen Dombois) in the Holywell Music Room in Oxford in 1969.
