In the composer's 450th anniversary year, Lucie Skeaping explores his life and work, and speculates on the allegations against him.

I only caught the last Telemann. It was very good. More Vivaldi and Telemann can only be a good thing.

Excellent programme about Peter Phillips. Enjoyed both LS's presentation (as ever) and the music played. I especially liked the two motets sung by Trinity College choir, sounding inappropriately Anglican, but very beautiful. One wonders why, given Phillips' prolific output, only one piece, Ascendit Deus, has become a staple of the Anglican repertory?
