Went to The Sixteen's all-Victoria concert at King'sPlace on Saturday night - marvellous. A few dates left!

I've been working my way through this http://www.mdt.co.uk/MDTSite/product//4779747.htm set: (Sacred Works: Ensemble Plus Ultra / Michael Noone. Deutsche Grammophon 10cds).

Very fine performances, audibly the result of years of study & love for the music. (Apologies if the set has been mentioned elsewhere here).

Discussion seems to have been divided between here on the CotW board, on The Choir (the main discussion) and The Early Music Show board, and yes, the set already has fans.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
