    Utrecht EM Festival

This programme related well to the previous post, 'The Other Bachs'.
All CPE Bach played by The Orchestra of the 18th Century. Tempi sometimes a bit over-fast IMHO but playing immaculate.

it was still an unwanted interruption tho - maybe the presenter had had a few pronunciation lessons as it sounded considerably less 'camp' in the short while before I hit the mute button - but turning to other reading material I'd put down to listen, I never did return to the program - in many ways this reflects my now almost complete indifference to the likely disappearance of R3 in the short term future

It certainly sounded less frenetic. I turned the sound down so I could join the proper programme when he'd gone, rather than trying to guess when it was safe to unmute or, as you did, forgetting to do so.

I regret to say that I agree with you. There's precious little left to look forward to these days.
