Radio 3 in concert from York Minster: The Sixteen, The Choral Pilgrimage - "An Old Belief". Parry's Songs of Farewell and others. Great concert.
Wednesday 13 July
Radio 3 in concert live from York Minster: The Gabrieli Consort and Players with "A Venetian Coronation". Have tickets for this too and am greatly looking forward to it. Gabrielis are one of my favourite groups and their involvement in the (now sadly defunct) Brinkburn Music Festival are largely responsible for my interest in, and appreciation of, Early Music.
