The recorder ensemble Palisander give a concert at St John's Smith Square, featuring the premiere of the two winning pieces inspired by dance by Jacob Fitzgerald and Delyth Naya, as a part of the National Centre for Early Music and BBC Radio 3 Young Composers Award 2021. Agreed. Excellent example of what recorders can do (such as make a pleasing sound...), an interesting selection of music, and good to hear the young composers' pieces, both of which I very much enjoyed and would happily hear again.
