Has it now become a Forum jest to refer to Through the Night ("TtN") as "TNT"?

I ask, just so's I know not to "correct" any intended humour.

You weren't the only one, DracoM - there have been a couple of other Threads referring to "TNT" (I got an e-Mail from dovers pointing the first one out): I genuinely didn't know if this was a Forum in-joke I'd missed.

Very nice to think Dovers is casting an eye over what's going on here - much missed Forumista!

I'm sure we're all amused, and will forgive you. Have two daffodils.

When sleep is imminent and I turn off R3 in the wee small hours, I usually mutter to the radio 'TTFN'.

Anyone remember that superbly tense French film from the 1950s, about two guys driving two lorries loaded with TNT?

I think that would be 'The Wages of Fear' (released in 1953).

I see that the following night has Peter Maxwell Davies' 'A sad pavan for these distracted tymes' tucked away in the darkest pre-dawn hours.

The last shot was of the hand of the second one to die, clutching his nostaligic metro ticket.
