    Jean Rondeau: Lunchtime Concert Monday 10 June

    Live from Wigmore Hall, London, the young French harpsichordist Jean Rondeau plays six typically quirky and original sonatas by Scarlatti and works by JS Bach, including Brahms's left-hand transcription of the great Chaconne from the Second Partita for solo violin.

          I think it's probably just a passing phase! But close your eyes and listen...he is a masterful harpsichordist, capable of being dazzling but tender as well.

              Enjoyed his performance as always, but he does bear a worrying resemblance to Blake's Nebuchadnezzar, doesn't he
              And the tune ends too soon for us all

                It was a great concert but when I listen to harpsichord works at home, I like it somewhat less exciting.
