I have sent in my comment to Radio 3 noting that the first hour and last hour contain precisely NO music for Holy Week.

It isn't secular though,so perhaps that makes it alright. I don't think the Christmas equivalent is always all strictly seasonal either.
Wasn't impressed with the Bulgarian offering, but I wasn't expecting great things - previous experience has been a bit hit and miss.

It would have been good to have something in those slots that matched the overall title. There is plenty to choose from. Why choose none?

You'd need to speak to the Bulgarians and Russians...I wonder what the spec is for the concerts and how much leeway is given for interpretation of it?

I've just noticed this on an Andrew McGregor tweet
the Regional History Musem in Plovdiv, Bulgaria for a concert of Orthodox music for Holy Week from the Gaudeamus Chamber Choir
