    Farinelli and Handel

I just read Claire van Kampen’s hit play Farinelli and the King having missed it at the theatre.

It includes one short chunk from Farinelli's teacher Porpora’s Polifemo, but all the other musical interventions are by Handel (Il Parnasso in Festa, Amadigi di Gaula, Giulio Cesare, Flavio re de and lots of Rinaldo). In reality, the only Handel opera in which Farinelli ever appeared was Ottone when it was produced by the rival Opera of the Nobility in London.

He did of course appear in Polifemo.

Does this mean Opera of the Nobility staged Handel’s Ottone?
