    Early Music Proms 2018

From a quick search through, I have found three early music concerts plus two non-hipp Bach (JS).

Yes - apart from a "through the ages" (John Browne to Arvo Part) concert by the Tallis Scholars, there is - once again - no Music from before 1600 featured this year.

I suppose early music was thought to be the least politically sensitive when they had to leave something out to make space for the extra women composers. Not a single major work in hipp. This is certainly the poorest proms for early music in the last few years.

The Jean Rondeau recital would be where I would be rushing to get a ticket if I were in London. He's amazing!
