I thought this was a wonderful concert. The six-voice male ensemble sounded like textbook performance in the best sense. Here’s the group’s website

Definitely worth listening if you like or interested in Renaissance vocal works.

Ah, Lucie has just said ‘the countertenor Terry Wey’. I thought it (the countertenor voice) sounded very good.

I know it's nitpicking, but couldn't the title be meant to encompass all music composed in Ost-Ria and it's environs up until 1918?

I am sorry if the thread title misled you but as this is a thread about Early Music Show, the music included tends to be pre-Mozart/Haydn. The programme does cover the composers from the latter half of the 18th century like the Bach brothers or other in-between composers like Clementi but that’s as far as it goes ([ed.] as far as I am aware).

That besides, I hope you enjoyed the programme.
