    Early Music Proms 2017

    Would you believe…? Sir JEG and William Christie yet again. Still, I think this is somewhat more generous than the last couple/a few Proms.

    Please add anything I have missed or correct any mistakes.

    looks all good there DS1! I just bought I Flaglionini's Monteverdi "The Other Vespers recording. Strongly recommended!

      "Somewhat more generous" in terms of the number of concerts, but still so little repertoire from before 1600! For "Early" Music, it's all from the "afternoon" onwards (with a little bit of "Eleven o'clock" with the half-hour of Palestrina).



      (The "New" Music offerings close down at around "10.00pm", too. Again.)
