Elin Manahan Thomas was tremendous in Telemann’s cantata Ino and Ouverture-Suite that preceded the cantata was, as Ashley Solomon says Telemann having a great fun in his 80s with a ‘crazy horn part’. Great fun indeed. Thoroughly enjoyable. -
Indeed. I tuned in halfway through and wondered if this was some wacky 21st Century 'homage'....but no, all the notes were Telemann. Agree about Elin.Telemann having a great fun in his 80s with a ‘crazy horn part’. Great fun indeed. Thoroughly enjoyable.
