Spanish cantatas sung in vernacular (Spanish, I assume?). Very interesting and (I think) excellently performed.

And a wonderful Handel’s Trio Sonata to start the programme with. Plus a Vivaldi Trio Sonata.

    What not to like?

Lovely concert...and I was struck by Senorita Fernandez' sound. I could have sworn it was a high countertenor (someone like Jarousky) when I first switched on. Anyway, her style of singing seemed ideal for the High Baroque. Senor Duron was new to me.
