This should be on Early Music on TTN but just for once as it is Christmas.

I've had trouble getting the BBC i-player in Norway in the past. I hope things have changed...otherwise I'll have to hope it's available when I get back. Love Vox Luminis.

Just heard it. What a great ensemble they are...and what a great programme idea, namely to use a few composers of the 'German' early Baroque to mark four stages of the Christmas story. Much Italianate spezzati in evidence. Shame the gamba/cello continuo player was not credited.

I believe this was your first post. I intended to post this when I saw your post, since it is quite an event to see a new member joining the Forum by posting on the Early Music Board but things got in the way (it was a wrong kind of day).

I very much enjoyed reading your posts on other Boards and am looking forward to reading your expert opinions on early music and much else.

            A warmest welcome.

Thank you so much! You have reminded me that I must catch up with this Vox Luminis concert, and I am reveling in it as I write - such balm!
