OT, but qu'est-ce que c'est un clavier francais, ardcarp? You can do it on a basic English keyboard, non? (I do a lot of Spanish without changing the configuration of the keyboard). I'm probably missing the point entirely, grandmères et oeufs etc....

You can do an é just with e+Ctrl+Alt even on my keyboard.

What I mean is (qu'est que je veux dire) is that I can't be bovvered doing all that stuff on a keyboard that isn't designed for it. I'll stop apologising for my missed accents! Ce n'est pas grave.

Bien sûr Perhaps that is the reason for the mispronunciation of certain Spanish composers by R3 presenters - they don't bother with the accents when typing up their wretched scripts. By the way it was Tárrega's birthday on Saturday (b. 1852)
